Notes

To search for a city, town or other location, enter the first few letters (5 should be enough) into the name field and then tab away. A list of possible alternatives that are contained in the database will be returned. Select one, and its coordinates will be transferred to the latitude and longtitude fields.

This page can be used to calculate the distance between two points on the Earth's surface - or any oblate spheroid - given the lattitude & longtitude of the two points.
